Hueston Woods Invasive Plant & Ecology Program

Join Reef Expeditions for an educational field program exploring invasive species, native plants, forest ecology, and conservation.
Participants will learn how invasive plants affect native ecosystems and what can be done to help protect and restore healthy forest communities.
Dinner will follow the program.
Ohio River Cleanup

Help Reef Expeditions protect one of our region’s most important natural resources.
Volunteers will work together to remove litter and debris from the Ohio River environment while learning about the effects of pollution on aquatic wildlife, water quality, and downstream ecosystems.

Helen S. Ruder Preserve Forest Hike

Join Reef Expeditions for a hands-on forest restoration program at the Helen S. Ruder Preserve near Yager Stadium.
Participants will learn about invasive species, habitat restoration, and the ongoing effort to improve the health of the preserve’s forest ecosystem.
Lunch will follow the program at Habibi Fusion in Oxford.
